StreamKit is a platform where a streamer links a Twitch or Kick account, connects a bot and switches on modules: a chat bot, auto-moderation, giveaways, loyalty points, overlays, song requests or a prize wheel. The main Nette app has a public part, sign-up and a streamer dashboard; a scheduler and a YouTube channel poller run in the background.
Architecture
Every module has its own flag, so it can be safely turned off in production. Around the main app are small Nette services that talk to each other with an internal token:
- Token Provider holds and refreshes OAuth access tokens for Twitch and Kick, so the other services never have to keep them.
- Message Service accepts a message in a single request, routes it by rules and delivers it through connectors (Discord webhook, Twitch IRC). The queue lives in MariaDB and a worker processes it.
- Hooks receives Twitch and Kick webhooks and registers event subscriptions.
- Activity Feed returns the events of each channel as JSON or as a live stream over Server-Sent Events. It verifies webhook signatures (HMAC for Twitch, RSA for Kick).
