A Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that runs the game systems of a community Cobblemon server. It gives players dungeons, daily quests and auctions, gives admins regions with permissions, and adds smaller touches such as an escape rope to the nearest preset spot, named chest locks and a skin picker with its own interface.
Game systems
- Dungeons, daily quests and auctions as part of the game on the server.
- Regions with their own permission flags, commands and an admin interface.
Technically interesting
- Client and server. The skin picker is a custom screen on the client, and the skin is applied to the player model through mixins, including the switch to the slim arm model.
- Custom network packets. The client and the server exchange data in request–response pairs, for example for the information shown on mouse hover.
- Database. Data lives in MariaDB; the mod ships with the driver and the HikariCP connection pool.
