The site is a single static page with no server-side logic: the whole HTML is about 35 kB, and the styles are compiled from Tailwind CSS into one file. There is no database and no server-side code to watch and update.

What is inside

  • A floor plan of the private room drawn in SVG – benches, a table, an entrance with a curtain and a coat rack – with a text description for screen readers.
  • A timeline of the history of the house.
  • For search engines: schema.org structured data (a pub with opening hours and contacts), sitemap.xml and robots.txt.
  • Small things: its own 404 page, a manifest and icons for adding the site to a phone's home screen.
